Position Overview
The Summer Concession Stand Operator manages daily operations of a seasonal concession stand, preparing and serving food, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in compliance with all health regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate fryers, grill top, and pizza equipment
Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and portion standards
Take accurate customer orders and process payments
Provide prompt, friendly customer service
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Monitor inventory and report low stock
Open and close the stand as scheduled
Follow all company policies and local health guidelines
Qualifications
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
Knowledge of basic food safety practices
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Food service experience preferred, but not required
Work Environment
Seasonal position in an outdoor or semi-outdoor setting
Exposure to heat from cooking equipment
Weekend and holiday availability may be required
