New Position: U.S. Outreach and Partnerships Manager

Location: United States (Full time; Remote with extensive travel)

Reports to: Director of Business Development (based in Israel)

Position Overview:

SparkIL is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic U.S. Outreach and Partnerships Manager to join our team. As the sole SparkIL representative in the United States, you will play a critical role in driving our outreach and engagement efforts to grow the number of lenders on the SparkIL platform. This is a dream job for someone passionate about finance, deeply connected to Israel, and actively engaged in the Jewish community. This position offers significant independence and requires a self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment, is passionate about relationship-building, and is excited to travel extensively to foster partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep connection with Israel, familiarity with financial aspects of SparkIL, and a strong background in Jewish community leadership.

About SparkIL:

SparkIL is a pioneering non-profit organization based in Israel, dedicated to fostering**** meaningful connections between global communities and Israel. Through our**** digital platform, individuals from around the world can provide interest-free micro-**** loans to small businesses in Israel. These loans create a direct and tangible impact**** on the borrowers’ businesses and lives, while strengthening ties to the State of Israel.**** SparkIL is proudly co-owned by the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Ogen Group,**** reflecting a shared commitment to innovation, community, and economic**** empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach: Build, maintain, and proactively expand relationships with key stakeholders, including synagogues, schools, Hillels and Israel groups on campus, JCCs, youth organizations, and other community institutions to promote the SparkIL platform and increase lender participation.
  • Event Representation: Represent SparkIL at conferences, events, and meetings across the United States to raise awareness of our mission and platform.
  • Program Implementation: Work closely with partner organizations to implement SparkIL programs, campaigns, and initiatives that align with their mission and goals.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the Director of Business Development in Israel to ensure alignment on strategy, goals, and messaging.
  • Reporting: Track and report on outreach efforts, partnerships, and campaign results to measure impact and inform future strategies.
  • Travel: Travel frequently across the U.S. to meet with stakeholders, attend events, and build relationships (expected travel up to 50%-60%) and travel to Israel once or twice a year for training and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, nonprofit outreach, fundraising, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of and connection to the Jewish community, its institutions, and culture in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Deep connection with Israel, demonstrated through personal experiences such as travel to Israel and familiarity with its culture and challenges.
  • Previous participation in Jewish youth groups, campus organizations, or similar community initiatives; leadership experience in these groups is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the U.S.
  • Passion for supporting Israeli small businesses and fostering global community connections.
  • Self-starter with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Familiarity with impact lending, philanthropy, micro-financing or economic development is a plus.
