POSITION OVERVIEW
As a key member of the Partnership Department, the Partnership Manager actively manages logistics and systems as it relates to Momentum’s relationships with worldwide Partnership organizations. This position reports to the Associate Director of North America and serves an important role in ensuring a smooth experience for partners. This position must understand the needs and goals of current and prospective partners in order to enable Momentum to be a conduit to advance the work of their respective agencies. The Partnership Manager actively manages logistics and operations to support Partners and stewards designated Partners through the entire process. In addition, the Partnership Manager actively manages Momentum’s relationships with up to 10 partners within our 300 worldwide Partner organizations, in designated regions.
- Ensures Partner organizations in the region are educated about Momentum’s vision and mission as well as expectations, policies, and procedures. Provides relevant operational training to onboard and troubleshoot with Partners so they understand how to use Momentum’s portal and timetables to support their trip operations. Partnership Manager follows up to confirm that commitments are being met. Supports Partner retention goals by managing relationships for long-term community building.
- Supports participant and Partner relationships in Yearlong journey preparation by providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance with timeliness and accuracy, including assistance through application and registration processes and impact plans.
- Achieves annual goals established for both program and Partner participation. Ensures participants reflect the Momentum strategic goals of expanding diversity (e.g., geographic location; affiliation).
- Supports participant and Partner relationships in Yearlong journey preparation by providing exceptional customer service and technical assistance with timeliness and accuracy, including but not limited to:
- Assisting with participant applications, pre-trip questions, and troubleshooting registration processes.
- Working with Partner organizations on their impact plans and ensuring compliance with educational aspects.
- Assisting Partner organizations with compatibility and eligibility of participants for Momentum programming.
- Promotes Momentum leadership and educational opportunities to Partners that expand their community impact and engagement.
- Tracks all regional program activity in accordance with routine department procedures. Manages department metrics and prepares both routine and ad-hoc reports. Enters all relevant data into the Momentum database.
- Manages assigned department projects ensuring: thorough work plans are developed; tasks are implemented in a timely and accurate manner collaborating with other teams as appropriate; internal and external communications are professional, timely and thorough; project obstacles are effectively resolved; and all reporting and documentation is developed and implemented. Projects may include special programs, boutique or industry trips, events or conferences.
- Tracks all activity adhering to department procedures by entering all relevant data into the Momentum customer relationship database (CRM).
- Provides relevant operational training to Partner staff and follows up to confirm that commitments are being met.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in project management, program operations and/or member relations.
- Database proficiency required, Salesforce experience preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills including excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to effectively interface with partners, participants, donors and volunteers.
- Deep passion and commitment to the mission of Momentum and Israel.
- Ability to periodically travel to Momentum programs and events.
- Ability to work nontraditional hours including weeknights and Sundays when necessary to participate in Momentum meetings and events.
Salary range: $65k – $70k
