JHCN is looking for a reliable Enrichment Specialist to assist with patient care through music. This enrichment provides much-needed joy and relaxation for those nearing the end of life or living with a life-limiting illness. Employee will visit with JHCN clients for 45-minute visits to engage with our clients, focusing on reducing stress and anxiety. This role includes transporting your instrument to the bedside of patients.

Qualifications:

• Skilled in playing instruments and singing
• Proficient or comfortable learning music from the 1920's to1980's
• Proficient in Jewish music is great but not required
• Reliable transportation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Visit with JHCN clients in the Oakland County area
• Manage your calendar while scheduling visits with clients for 45-minute sessions
• Approach each client with an individualized approach to meet their needs. This includes but is not limited to being familiar with music from the 1920’s through 1980’s.
• Maintain confidentiality
• Maintain a respectful and caring relationship with JHCN families and their loved ones that are being cared for
