Job Description
About this position:
The successful District Manager will direct operations by overseeing the programmatic, fiscal and personnel functions for a defined portfolio of homes and programs on a day-to-day basis. This entails being in the Homes at least 60% of the time. An ideal candidate is friendly, able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and dependable.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor staff performance and goal attainment by regularly being in the Homes and observing what is happening.

Provide input, monitoring, support, and supervision for all program services, including Individual Plans of Service, record documentation, communication, cleanliness and scheduling.

Ensure contractual, legal and accreditation standards are met. Participate in all compliance audits.

Implement and monitor all aspects of the budget.

Represent JARC services within the agency and provide peer consultation and resources when needed.

Represent JARC in the behavioral health community

Adhere to agency and client protection policies by regularly acclimating yourself with all JARC policies.

Participate annually in agency and partner related philanthropic activities and campaigns.

Participate in on-call rotation and cover shifts as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in relevant field or 3 years of relevance experience required

Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Two years’ experience in residential or community support with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

One year of supervisory/management experience, program audit preparation, program management, budgeting, and outcomes reporting, preferred
Required Skills:
-
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic medical and reporting software

Ability to maintain documentation, analyze data for trends and use data to develop goals

Excellent people management skills, including conflict mediation

Knowledge of service offerings in the community, region, state, and federal levels

Able to develop solutions to challenging circumstances

Professional demeanor, excellent work ethic, and good communication skills
A valid Michigan driver's license is required.
