That’s What’s Up? Dynamic Direct Care Worker Needed in Farmington Hills Group Homes

Seeking awesome, spirited, Patient, confident, compassionate caregiver needed for a WEEKLY WEEKEND schedule.

• Part-time position BUT PICKING UP OTHER SHIFTS IS AVAILABLE.

The Schedule :

• Schedule would include (1) a one-on-one [Friday] & (2) Work in Group Home [Sat & Sun]

FRIDAYS (1:1) = 12NOON – 11PM (Apartment in Farmington Hills)

SATURDAY & SUNDAY (Group Home in FH w/6) Hills = 3pm – 11pm

TOTAL WEEKEND HOURS: 27 hours WITH ability to pick up other shifts.

The Rates

• PAID TRAINING. $13.80/hour. 40 hours of online, caregiver course training paid. ONCE FINISHED - rate jumps up to Trained Rate.

TRAINED RATE: $15.75

• This position includes PAID EASTERSEALS-MORC training.

Job Summary

In general, The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for performing or assisting people served in all aspects of personal care, daily living, and housekeeping tasks. This may include: eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, cooking, budgeting, shopping, menu planning, housekeeping, laundry, and other activities of daily living.

Some lifting required. Hoyer lift provided.

Preferred Qualifications

· Prior experience caring for adults with developmental disabilities.

Required Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED (18 year old minimum age)
