About Adamah

At Adamah, we believe in the deep connection between people and planet, adam and adamah. Our mission is to create vibrant Jewish life in deep connection with the earth, catalyzing culture change and systemic change through Immersive Retreats, Jewish Environmental Education, and Climate Action. Every day, we inspire and empower youth, teens, families, and leaders through programs that deeply interweave Jewish tradition and the natural world, creating diverse and inclusive communities, and building a more sustainable future.

About Youth Empowerment at Adamah

The Jewish Youth Climate Movement (JYCM), for middle and high school students, and Adamah on Campus, for college students, are programs of Adamah, designed by and directed towards Jewish youth. JYCM and Adamah on Campus are actively building a joyful, resilient generation of Jewish leaders through environmental education, climate action, and community building. Led by a staff team and National Student Leadership Boards, we work with students from around the US to form chapters in their communities and lead on national opportunities, such as Jewish holiday programs, climate campaigns, immersive retreat experiences, and more. Our work ensures the Adamah values of peoplehood and planethood are embedded within Jewish communities, and led by Jewish students, everywhere.
