Job Summary

The Project Manager partners with its assigned client (mostly internal) to plan, develop, coordinate, and execute all necessary marketing and communications efforts for the purpose of creating awareness, engagement and generating traffic to multiple touch points. This includes planning and executing the multiple stages of marketing projects as well as creating and developing a comprehensive range of content destined for a variety of media outlets, including social channels.

Duties

• Work with Communications and Marketing team to produce a wide array of engaging communications solutions and content that includes multi-media messaging (social media, video, emails, print), extended content (newsletters, direct mail, brochures, web) and corporate communications (press releases, speech scripting, annual reports, presentations)
• Responsible for social media posting, maintaining the social media calendar; building overall social media engagement strategy
• Provide editorial guidance and assist in the development of content for ongoing projects including internal and external communications
• Assist in research and information gathering during planning stages of copy and concept development.
• Brainstorm relevant topics aligned with the multi-channel content strategy to increase visibility of Federation CJA and assigned client
• Assist in social media campaigns across multiple channels in support of brand and program objectives
• Enforce a standard of excellence and quality in all forms of communication - from concept development to writing and proofreading
• Act as a trusted advisor, bringing value to clients’ project, through strong commitment to success, consistent performance and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions
• Create effective and eye-catching written, graphic and photographic content for social media, emails and landing pages

Education, Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, Communications, Marketing and/or Creative Industries, or related area
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Passion for developing creative, compelling and concise content all while capturing individual tones and
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, versatile writer with the ability to work in a range of writing styles
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish, develop and maintain key relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, including organization, attention to detail and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of big 4 social media channels and their respective best practices (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn)
• Computer skills: Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
• WordPress, Adobe Photoshop and Canva knowledge an asset
• Creative, innovative, and passionate
• Passion for digital marketing with a strong awareness of emerging trends in communications
• Graphic design and photography knowledge – knowledge of Photoshop and other graphic tools
• Experience with email marketing tools an asset
• Self-starter and a dynamic team player. Positive attitude a must.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
