As a(n) Jewish Enrichment Intern, you’ll play a pivotal role in administrative and operations for the Jewish Enrichment team at BBYO. Alongside your teammates, you’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world.
SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF
As a Jewish Enrichment Intern, a typical day will include:
- Support travel and logistics for guest speakers, JECs, and songleaders, including itineraries, accommodations, and transportation.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in organizational systems and spreadsheets.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as payment and invoice processing, scheduling, email correspondence, and record keeping.
- Help with formatting, editing, and polishing documents and presentations using Canva and other tools.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT
Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, Jewish Enrichment Intern these skills are key to success.:
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited university
- A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration with a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Proficient in Canva and Airtable preferred (or a willingness to learn/train on these systems)
- A background in BBYO or similar youth/Jewish organization is preferred but not required
- Availability to work 8-10 hours per week. This is a part time internship.
- Unrestricted work authorization to work in the U.S. without holding visa or sponsorship now or in the future
- To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty/function with or without reasonable accommodation in accordance with applicable law.
